Chris Booth - web developer and programmer

I am a computer programmer, I have been programming professionally for 15 years.

During my career I have developed Windows services, device drivers, computer games, aircraft simulations, virtual realities and more database front-ends than I care to remember. While working for other companies I have developed websites for companies such as ABB, Barbour and Reebok.

There aren't many technologies I haven't seen in the course of my career. I can develop websites using Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. I can also develop for Windows/IIS using ASP.NET and SqlServer.

Naomi's beautiful designs look great on paper and even posted to a wall. On the web those design should come alive and work for their living. I can programme any functionality your website needs and any systems you need to run your website. For example

• Edit your site's text and manage your products with a content management system.
• Allow your customers to shop online with a shopping basket and payment system.
• Give your customers a lively and commpelling experience with interactive webpages and exciting effects.
• Allow people visiting your site to add comments, pictures, feedback and join a community.
• I can also write bespoke programmes that run independant of your website doing anything you require.
• In addition I can help keep your site running with backups and IT systems.

Most developers' CVs end up amounting to big lists of technologies they have come across. Here's mine, concentrating on the things I liked the most and spent most time with.
