Got a website, but it is out of date?

The great thing about having your own website is that you can present your business in the way you want, not in the way Facebook/Instagram etc wants...

However, with so much to do sometimes the website takes a back seat and before you know it the poor thing is well out of date... so here are a few ideas for you...

  • If you update your social media, update your website at the same time!Picture: /imgresize/w288/blog-files/blog/19/wdwf.jpg
    • Using Instagram feed, your website will show your up-to-date photos instantly like westdorsetweddingflowers.co.uk.
    • Set aside a once-a-month update. Make time once a month to look at your Social Media, take your best photos, best testimonials and add them to your site, or send them to us/your web developer if you are a bit hands-off with the tech!
  • If you aren't updating anything yet
    • Try and gather some testimonials from happy customers
    • Take photos of your completed work (or get a photographer in if you want)
    • Read your website, or get a colleague/other half etc to... is it up to date? Make changes straight away or paste it into an email to us/the person who updates your site!

    • Over time websites do just look old, or your business has changed so much that it is time for an overhaul. Jo needed to move her site to reflect her updated business, from JosFlowerWorkshop to wildatheartfloristry.co.uk.
